The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe Book Review

Alice fell into Wonderland. Peter flew to Neverland. Lucy walked into a wardrobe and ended up in Narnia. C.S. Lewis brings this story of four children, one witch, and lots of magic to you in this incredible book. When Lucy Pensive walks through a wardrobe and ends up in a magical land called Narnia, she and her siblings are thrown into a great war. Fighting against the clock the children must reach Aslan the great lion's camp before the White Witch finds them. They learn that they are destined to be kings and queens of Narnia, but the witch claims SHE is the true queen of Narnia. As the story unfolds, more is revealed of Lucy's adventure, her brother Edmund's struggle, her sister Susan's battle, and her other brother Peter's destiny. Together they must save Narnia from Jadis the White Witch! This book is really entertaining, but feels like it's lacking a bit of the heart it could have. Still, it's a great book, and is one of my personal favorites. This book is perfect for kids ages 9-14
